Artylicious was started by the owner of a graphic design agency, Apperley Design to bring a fresh alternative to overpriced galleries and mass-produced cheap prints. With Artylicious, you are in control of your art, you can choose the style, colour and size of your prints, you can even choose to split your chosen images to spread over 2, 3 or even 4 canvases. You can also have matching window blinds or cushion so your room can look like its had professional treatment by an interior designer!

All our digital and photographic art is printed at our in-house studio in Leeds, on gallery quality, 415gsm cotton canvas using giclée high resolution printing process which reproduces colours more accurately and vibrant using Epson ultrachrome inks so they'll stay looking good for years to come. We also add 2 coats of varnish to give that extra protection and durability. The image will be gallery wrapped round the edges with no staples visible at the back.

We offer a range of canvas art, from original oil paintings, to beautiful flower images, we feel we have something for everyone whether its for an office or your front room.

What is Giclée Printing?

Giclée is is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality reproductions of fine art used by many artists and museums to make prints of their paintings. In Giclee printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used and therefore there is no visible dot screen pattern. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works.

Canvas without compromise

We believe in offering a quality product and we use Chromata White Inkjet Canvas which is the most archival canvas available. In addition, its breakthrough technology results in a canvas that is whiter than traditional canvas manufactured without OBA's. Chromata Bright White utilises our most advanced inkjet canvas coating technology that is an industry leader in Dmax and Colour Gamut. It was designed to deliver roll to roll CONSISTENCY from one production to the next.

For extra durability and a beautiful finish we coat our canvas art with Glamour™ II Veneer, a proprietary water-based top coat giclee coating designed specifically for our canvas. If coated with Glamour II, this canvas will not crack even under extremely rigorous stretching conditions. This process ensures a beautiful piece of canvas artwork worthy of sitting on the walls of any Gallery.
